Docetaxel (Taxotere®) is a taxoid antineoplastic agent used in the treatment of various cancers. belongs to class IV drugs Biopharmaceutics Classification System (BCS), and their clinical use limited due extreme hydrophobicity, low water solubility, bioavailability, high toxicity. This study aims prepare nanoparticles for pulmonary delivery with enhanced solubility dissolution targeting tissues. Accordingly, PLGA-Docetaxel (NPs) were prepared by nanoprecipitation method coated Carboxymethyl chitosan investigate its effectiveness as inhaled anticancer therapy. Four formulations had been reach highest loading capacity (LC%) encapsulation efficiency (EE%) effect amount on drug release. The sizes, charges, homogeneity, surface morphology, LC% EE% NPs determined. characterized using FTIR XRD. In vitro release profiles from PLGA NPs, at pH 5.5, 6.5, 7.4 sizes four ranged between 227.7± 9.5 306.4 ± 27.4. All showed acceptable monodispersity positive charges. was above 99% 31-63%. show an inverse relation amounts medium. conclusion, coating may be good carrier
